Role Description:
We are seeking a dynamic and results- driven Penfolds Wine Manager to lead sales operations across Vietnam. This role is essential for achieving commercial objectives, executing marketing strategies, and managing the operational and strategic aspects of Penfolds wine distribution. The successful candidate will drive sales growth and enhance brand presence in the Vietnam market.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Growth & Commercial Performance
Data Consolidation – Generate Reports and Insights for monthly trends / reviews on distribution and depletion opportunities for Penfolds in markets.
Sales Forecasting: Provide accurate sales forecasts and track performance to ensure continuous alignment with business goals.
Achieve Sales Targets: Lead sales efforts across various channels (TOFT, MOFT, HORECA), achieving exceedingly quarterly commercial KPIs, including sell- out, depletion, and distribution + listings targets.
Business Development: Identify and engage new customers to expand distribution and sales volume. Work closely with the LGI Managing Director and the Penfolds Vietnam Business Development Manager to fulfill Penfolds’ commercial objectives.
Team Leadership & Development
Strategic focus and Monitor Goals: Work on strategies to achieve commercial goals, evaluate performance, and make necessary adjustments to meet/ exceed set targets.
Collaborative Team Environment: Foster a competitive yet collaborative team culture that encourages creativity, innovation, and risk- taking.
Marketing Execution
Key Account Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, stakeholders, retailers, and partners to support long- term growth and brand visibility.
Brand & Marketing Alignment: Execute Penfolds’ marketing plans in alignment with global brand standards. Ensure timely implementation of marketing activations, promotions, and events, working closely with the Penfolds Customer Marketing Manager.
Operational Management
Contract Management: Liaise between the Penfolds and LGI teams to address customer needs, prioritize proposals, and manage contract agreements efficiently.
Store Operations: Oversee merchandising execution and general operations in alignment with company procedures.
Inventory & Demand Forecasting: Manage inventory levels, forecast demand, and ensure smooth operations, including product ordering and vendor relationships.
Market Analysis & Strategic Planning
Strategy Development: Develop and implement innovative sales strategies to increase market share, brand visibility, and drive Penfolds&039; growth in Vietnam.
Market Insights: Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and consumer preferences to adapt sales strategies.
Product Knowledge & Training
Product Training: Conduct regular product training sessions for internal teams, customers, and key clients to deepen their knowledge and enhance sales performance.
Brand Expertise: Maintain an expert- level understanding of Penfolds’ wine portfolio, brand heritage, and market positioning.
