- Work Location: HCMC Office
- Market Research:
+ Assess internal capability to suitably serve customer needs; Identify competitor activities/strategy at customer level;
+ Determine key customers of Vietnam; Analyze past records of customers to understand the business.
+ Understand key dynamics of the market and major activities in the steel segment;
+ Determine market strategy to cater to various identified segments/ customers;
+ Prepare and submit a report to management appraising key customer activities and development.
- Lead Generation/ Prospecting:
+ Communicate and collaborate with the engineering and sales departments to identify new developments/modifications on company equipment;
+ Determine the possibility of localization of imported spares and ways of forming new binding contracts;
+ Plan visit to customers and understand their requirements for local and imported spares & services, revamp & modernization, and new projects;
+ Update customers on product/process improvements; Secure sign- off on travel plan, localizing equipment sourcing, and modifications on company equipment.
- Initial Scoping/ Qualification:
+ Work on enquiry/ proposal (being able to work on technical documentation such as scope of supply, technical specification, and PowerPoint presentation at customer premises if required) in coordination with the respective CoE of the company;
+ Quotation and submission to customers.
+ Evaluate whether customer needs can be served by India&039;s business portfolio.
+ Identify the possibility of leveraging SDE offerings and capability to serve customer needs;
- Pricing and Negotiation:
+ Conduct first- level negotiations with customers, on receipt of orders, confirming customers on order acceptance;
+ Determine margins (governed by established corporate guidelines) in collaboration with the pre- sales commercial team for equipment & repairs; Submit proposal to customers;
+ Hand over orders with all information to the company order execution team.
+ Revalidate offers technically and commercially in collaboration with company management;
- After Sales Service
+ Coordinate and follow up with internal teams for issue resolution;
+ Support internal teams with market info
+ Track and flag open issues to relevant stakeholders;
+ Seek feedback from customers to determine customer satisfaction.
