What you will do
The Data Lead will be part of the Central Technical Data Team.
This candidate should
They will help supervise a team of Data Analysts and Analytic Engineers, and have the opportunity to
directly influence the products and development of the company – their conclusions will have a wide-
Ad- hoc Reporting & Data Analysis duties or other responsibilities as required;
Designing, building supporting products of data quality to ensure data sources are reliable and relevant for the team’s purposes;
Building, developing, and maintaining automated dashboards to monitor business and technical metrics;
Analyzing complex data of technical platforms to drive insightful findings and translating them into meaningful, actionable recommendations for our stakeholders;
Types of projects include: Data Catalog, App Tracking, Data Governance, Infrastructure Analytics and Optimization.
Collaborating with internal data team to consolidate requirements, understand needs, and deliver necessary tools;
Establishing and monitoring policies to standardize data- related workflow and adhere to regulation.
Actively communicate with data users to understand their pain points and needs, then designing and implementing solutions and best- practices, with automation and scalability in mind, to improve quality of decisions of end- users;
What you will need
Minimum Qualifications
University degree with quantitative/statistics coursework such as Business, Economics, Marketing, or relevant fields.
University degree (BA, BSc, etc.) in a technical discipline such as Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Information Management;
Key Skills/Experience Required
Critical:
Strong spoken and written communication skills (in both English and Vietnamese);
Effectively collaborate within a team as well as work independently.
Self- learner and quickly adopt new knowledge and technical skills;
Sense of ownership, a growth mindset, and the ability to recommend solutions which are scalable;
Proficiency in writing complex SQL queries or programming languages Python;
Excellent problem- solving aptitude and logical thinking;
Desirable:
User Empathy
Experience with BI/analytics/statistics tools and languages (Google BigQuery, Google Data Studio, R, Python, etc.);
Solid technical/functional knowledge in data systems (GCP, AWS, Azure). Data Engineer and Machine Learning Engineer backgrounds are preferred.
Leadership Experience is preferred;
