We are seeking a Business Analysis Manager to lead the business analysis function for the modernization of our Debt Collection System (DCS). This role will oversee a team of business analysts, ensuring that business requirements are effectively captured, analyzed, and translated into system functionalities. The Business Analysis Manager will collaborate closely with stakeholders from debt collection, risk, IT, and compliance to ensure the successful implementation of a cloud- based, AI- powered, and mobile- first debt collection platform.
The ideal candidate has extensive experience in business analysis, digital transformation, and banking operations, with a strong background in debt collection processes and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
• Work closely with key stakeholders from debt collection, risk, IT, compliance, and finance to define business needs and system requirements.
• Support UAT, system testing, and change management initiatives to ensure smooth adoption of the new DCS.
• Develop and implement a structured business analysis framework to standardize requirement gathering, process mapping, and impact assessment.
• Oversee business process reengineering efforts to improve operational efficiency and automation in debt collection workflows.
• Ensure compliance with banking regulations such as Basel III, IFRS 9, GDPR, and PCI DSS.
• Collaborate with technology teams, software vendors, and third- party partners to ensure system requirements are accurately translated into technical solutions.
• Ensure alignment of business requirements with the bank’s AI- first, mobile- first, and cloud- first strategy.
• Lead and mentor a team of business analysts, ensuring high- quality business requirement gathering and documentation.
• Lead gap analysis to identify differences between the current debt collection system and the new system’s capabilities.
• Manage the documentation of end- to- end business processes, user journeys, and functional specifications.
Required Experience and Skills
Familiarity with data analytics and reporting tools to extract insights from collection data.
Strong leadership and people management skills, with experience in mentoring and coaching business analysts.
8+ years of experience in business analysis, with at least three years in a leadership or managerial role in banking, fintech, or enterprise IT.
Experience working in Agile environments, with proficiency in Scrum methodologies and writing user stories and acceptance criteria.
Hands- on experience with requirement gathering methodologies, business process modeling (BPM), and gap analysis.
Strong understanding of debt collection processes, risk management, and compliance requirements in the banking industry.
Proven experience in leading digital transformation projects, system modernization, or cloud- based platform implementations.
Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication, and negotiation skills to align cross- functional teams.
Strong knowledge of SaaS, API integration, and cloud- based financial systems.
Experience in AI- driven automation, predictive analytics, and machine learning applications in debt collection is a plus.
