JOB PURPOSE
The main purpose to identify, develop, and implement sales and marketing strategies to drive revenue growth and expand the company&039;s market presence.
The job exists to achieve sales targets and increase market share through effective lead generation, customer acquisition.
The job contributes towards strengthening the company&039;s market position through strategic sales and marketing initiative.
ACCOUNTABILITIES AND OBJECTIVES
Develop new customers and create gross profit:
· Liaise with accounting team and operations team to do payment credit controls and collection as per approved credit terms.
· Prospect for new customers via various platforms, personal network, industry events, conferences, trade shows, exhibition and leads.
· Contribute free hand business for all products (Air/ Sea/ Projects/ Customs Brokerage/ NVOCC/ Ship agency/ Husbandry).
· Conduct market research to understand industry dynamics for potential business development and understand competitor dynamics.
· Identify new business opportunities and constantly seek for new leads and follow up on leads for potential customers.
· Timely update local market trends/ news to detect potential business chance.
· Preparing total sales budget, monitoring, and coordinating sales campaigns for visiting overseas partners/ agents.
· Frequently perform telemarketing and visit customers (potential and existing customers), then enter details of the visit in GAC Sales system (CRM).
Customer Relationship management:
· Build and develop customers/ services provider/ pricing database for profit making purpose.
· Resolve customer demands/ problems amicably with regards to service delivery, performance etc.
· Conduct customer relationship management activities to improve business network with customers with the objective to retain and increase sales revenue.
Prepare, submit, and follow up on quotations
· Submit and follow up on quotations promptly with potential customer
· Prepare quotations in line with prevailing guidelines.
Team Leadership
· Set targets, establish sales goals, and motivate the team to achieve and exceed targets.
· Lead and develop a high- performing team, provide guidance and support, and promote collaboration and innovation.
· Actively pass on sales leads to sales teams within the company and overseas GAC Companies and agents.
· Managing the sales team and achieve the budgeted KPI.
· Liaise with GAC offices, Group Marketing- Energy teams, and Key Account Managers on commercial activities and business development.
SHARED WORK UNIT TASK AND RESPONSIBILITIES TO INCREASE TEAM EFFICIENCY
Perform Ad- hoc projects assigned by Board of Directors.
Do efficient teamwork contribution in all company tasks when and where required.
Assist operations (Shipping & Logistics)/ accounting team in any financial requirements and advice/ consultancy to ensure local laws compliance.
