We are expanding our presence in the EU market and are seeking a proactive and results- driven Business Development Manager to join our team.
Job Summary
As a Business Development Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving new business opportunities in the EU market. Your primary focus will be on identifying potential clients, building relationships, and promoting BSS Commerce’s outsourcing and custom software development services. You will be responsible for preparing sales materials, documents, and proposals to support the sales process.
This role requires a proactive mindset, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast- paced, target- driven environment. Knowledge of European languages such as French, Spanish, or German will be a significant advantage.
Key Responsibilities
Market Research and Lead Generation:
Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities.
Identify and research potential clients in the EU market.
Sales Strategy Development:
Build and maintain a robust pipeline of prospects.
Develop and implement strategies to achieve sales targets in the EU region.
Client Engagement:
Conduct meetings, presentations, and product demonstrations to showcase BSS Commerce’s services.
Initiate contact with potential clients through emails, calls, and networking.
Sales Material Preparation:
Prepare and customize sales materials, including proposals, case studies, and presentations.
Collaborate with the marketing and technical teams to ensure materials are accurate and compelling.
Relationship Building:
Act as the primary point of contact for clients during the initial stages of the sales process.
Build and maintain long- term relationships with clients and stakeholders.
Language and Communication:
Utilize professional English communication skills to engage with clients.
Leverage knowledge of French, Spanish, or German to connect with clients in their native language (preferred).
Reporting and Analysis:
Provide regular updates to the management team on progress and challenges.
Track and report on sales activities, pipeline, and results.
Requirements
Knowledge of French, Spanish, or German is a plus.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, IT, or a related field.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM tools.
Proven at least 3- year experience in business development, sales, or a similar role, preferably in the IT outsourcing or software development industry.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills in English.
Proactive, self- motivated, and target- driven mindset.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong understanding of the EU market and business culture.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
