RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manage financial and strategic planning and budgeting to ensure that BU develops a robust plan to profitably grow the BU in the long- term. Establish robust internal controls, manage working capital Provide timely and accurate financial information to BU management in order to make strategically right and financially sound decisions. Accurate job costing and profits and losses accounts by customers are needed on a timely basis to support management decision making. Annual plans and budgets are developed in alignment with BU strategic business plans and budgets. The Finance Controller reports to the General Manager and is part of the Vietnam Leadership Team.
Management Reporting
Ensure monthly, quarterly and yearly management reporting requirements are provided to parent company.
Reported results accurately reflect historical performance with no material adjustments for unrecorded/ unreported gains or losses
Ensure BU and Company results are accurate.
Monthly, quarterly and yearly reporting deadlines and Parent company reporting requirements on profitability are met.
Annual Planning
Lead the budget planning process for the BU, add values to the BU operations by identifying areas of improvements, whether it is revenues management, cost reduction initiatives, expenses control, and capital efficiency improvements.
Plan ownership achieved by appropriate communication and involvement.
Individual and Section plans are completed according to standard and reflect the BU and Group strategic plans.
See BU status through: The evaluation of Business Units short and long term plans; the investigation and analysis of viable alternatives; the formulation and recommendation of growth and development opportunities; and alignment with Global strategies.
Finance Approach Human Resources Management
Ensure spending remains within approved budget limits
Ensure the optimal use of human resources in the department via the recruitment, training, development and performance management of people, capable of meeting the current and future needs of the business.
Recommend the establishment of new positions, incentive and salary review to BU General Manager, if needed, in accordance with HR policies.
Coach, counsel and use feedback systems to implement a performance culture.
Establish, develop and implement a supportive manner of business culture.
Capital Investment Budget
Administer the capital investment budget and track business unit expenditure against budget.
Ensures Scarce resources are managed to meet short- term and long- term business needs, strategy and plan.
Ensures Timeliness of report allocation of resources to meet BG allocation requirements.
Taxation
Prepares taxation returns for Corporation Income Tax for the company, in accordance with taxation deadlines and statutory requirements
Taxation planning
Advise any taxation- related issue ensuring compliance to laws and legislation at an effective cost.
Take action to ensure compliance with taxation laws.
Insurance
Administer parent company global insurance policies for BU.
Ensure company assets are adequately protected through insurance.
Advise Group Risk Department of any changes taking place which may affect the global insurance policies.
Insurance claims are administered and managed to ensure protection of financial assets
Treasury
Comply with Group Treasury guidelines and reporting
Ensures: Money is available to meet current and future needs,
Ensures company has adequate financial resources to meet obligations and execute strategic plans.
Ensures: Short- term debt facilities are used cost effectively to ensure minimal interest costs, and
Ensures: The best possible short- term debt facility interest rate
Transactional Processing
Ensures: Transactional processing is cost effective and within budget
Ensures: Internal and external customer expectations are met, and
Ensure the transactional processes (accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll and reporting functions) are completed within monthly, quarterly and yearly deadlines.

Ensures: Processing benchmarks are met,
Financial Systems
System exhibit the quality of transparency and simplicity.
Financial systems provide timely and accurate reporting.
Establish and review financial systems ensuring accurate results are produced which can be relied upon to make business decisions.
Systems are robust.
Finance staff understand the system and have proper training.
Financial policies and procedures
Establish guidelines for business units and finance group to complete financial activities
Policies and procedures are developed that support Group policies and meet local conditions, not covered by Group procedures. •
Policies approved by BU General Director prior to issue.
Establish and review financial policies and procedures, providing the framework for business units to use when producing financial reporting.
Meet legislative requirements.
REQUIREMENTS:
Ability to develop and execute a sales plan.
Extensive understanding of the finance controlling in region or global.
Minimum 5 years of experience in the field of B2B Finance, preferably working with packaging industry.
Ability to hands on various projects.
University Degree, or Master Degree in Finance.
MS Office: Microsoft Office Suite
Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
Experience in managing a Team.
