Mô tả công việc

Project Sales responsibilities:
- Lead proposal presentations and RFP responses to ensure adherence to timelines.
- Strategically develop sizable as well as short to medium term opportunities on project logistics to build up pipeline in Salesforce with new and existing customers in MEK.
- Facilitate feedback discussions and negotiations to drive alternative solutions when required.
- Work closely with operations team to create and share Implementation Standard Operating Procedures (ISOPs) and Customer Standard Operating Procedures (CSOPs).
- Support proposal submissions by communicating the bid and the solution to the customer with commercial perspective and taking full responsibility for client interaction in the process.
- Plan and carry out sales calls with customers together with relevant internal stakeholders (Sales/MPL/Ops) and keeping thorough records of each encounter in Salesforce.
- Advocate MPL and drive interaction with customer&039;s procurement/logistics/project department as well as internal stakeholders and sales teams within Maersk.
- Point of Contact for MPL Growth with external customer and internal sales community/network in MEK to facilitate communication and support discussions including gathering requirements to establish the scope of work and evaluate complexity as well as facilitating risk assessment with support from MPL product team.
- Tap into existing client base and work closely with sales team (Verticals/DTS) to develop potential businesses based on customer fit to lead to qualification.
Focus:
- Markets/Countries coverage:
Vietnam or Thailand:
MPL set- up is already in place in these countries including Cargowise for operational support to prioritize customers in these areas.
Myanmar and Cambodia (+ Laos):
Opportunity to add a project sales person in future once there is substantial business.
MPL has good agent network to assist on enquiries and shipment operations with MPL supporting on transport solutions and planning.
- Verticals:
Focus and begin with the most relevant verticals with our various sales teams starting Automotive, Technologies & Electronics, and DTS function.
- Cargo Type:
OOG, heavy cargo, machinery, complex equipment.
- Scope of Transport service:
When required, chartering of transport and equipment including but not limited to planes and barges as well as cranes and special trailers etc.
End- to- End across sea, land, air, loading on Maersk&039;s existing network whenever possible.
- Scale of Project:
Long term (EPC Projects, duration of delivery beyond a year, set- up of factories / plants etc.).
Short & Medium (Spot Shipments, One- Off Shipments, Short Term Projects, repeated project shipments).

Yêu cầu công việc

- Ability to work in a structured and organized way, but also keep an innovative mind the interest in working with different cultures and work ethics.
- Ability to collaborate and work across boundaries.
- Bachelor Degree or Diploma level education
- Demonstrate project logistics expertise
- Customer focused with excellent attention to detail and drive to serve customers mindset.
- Being able to be self- motivated and self- disciplined.
- Strong data and analytical driven
- Fluent in English language skills
- Minimum 5 years work experience in a similar role in the industry (shipping/freight forwarding / logistics).
- Ability to communicate clearly and set focus/direction.
- Outgoing and good personality.
