Responsibilities:
Strategic Finance- Accountant Leadership
Advise on mechanisms and policies related to financial/accountant management, optimizing financial resources, and building annual operation plans in compliance with local/international banking regulations and our Bank&039;s development strategies.
Lead and manage a finance/accountant team for day- to- day operations ensuring efficient department functioning.
Define key performance indicators for the company through analysis to drive business decisions, solutions for growth, costs, cash flow, and profitability.
Lead company financing activities, including fundraising through debt/equity and stakeholder relationship management.
Business Partner
Act as a Business Partner and support the Board of Directors in business decisions.
Proactively advise the CEO and Senior Executives on crucial business decisions, highlighting options, trade- offs, risks, and opportunities.
Collaborate with the Senior Leadership Team to develop short and long- term strategic plans and translate those plans into measurable financial objectives.
Operational Excellence
Promote operational implementation within the entire division, providing solutions to improve operational efficiency and links between divisions and other departments in the Bank.
Control and Risk Management
Implement a strong risk management approach, identifying business risks and implementing appropriate responses.
Ensure compliance with control and governance requirements, including Tax and Financial Regulatory requirements, and maintain a best- in- class control environment.
Requirements:
Strategic Thinker: Strategic thinker with a results- oriented mindset.
Education Background: Top University degree in Banking, Finance, Accounting, Auditing, or related disciplines. Professional qualifications (e.g., CFA, CPA, ACCA, IFRS) required.
Location: Willingness to work and reside long- term in the SEA region (outside Vietnam).
Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills in English and Vietnamese.
Adaptability: Able to thrive in a fast- paced, dynamic environment.
Experience: 10+ years of progressive finance and strategy leadership experience, with at least 4 years as CFO/Finance Head in the banking sector.
Analytical Skills: Ability to synthesize, analyze, and make sound financial plans/decisions.
Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and excellent stakeholder management skills.
