Chief Accountant

Objective:

Work with the Banks/ Auditors/ Taxes
Manage Performance and Develop capabilities for Accounting Staffs
Responsible for monthly/ quarterly/yearly financial statement and tax finalisation reports
Priamary liaison for Thai F&B in all aspects pertaining to Accounting
Manage all accounting activities for Thai F&B

Key responsibilties

Check relevant accounting information on the Sales Contract.
Collaborate with cross- functional teams to have full information to take action for new requirement in time.
Check the declaration and approval of related tax payments, ensure submission of tax reports (VAT, CIT, FCT, Excise duty) on time
Liaise with external auditors and tax authorities, ensuring compliance with audit and tax requirements.
Stay updated with changes in accounting regulations and standards, tax policies (VAT, CIT, FCT, PIT, Excise Duty), implementing necessary adjustments to accounting practices and policies.
Responsible for the quality of monthly accounting statements (reconciling IC transactions, bank transactions, AR, AP, Fixed Assets, allocating prepaid expenses, sales, discounts, VAT, interest or loss of exchange rate difference, inventory, etc.)
Other tasks assigned by BOD
Develop and implement accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
Plan for cash flow on weekly/monthly/quarterly
Oversee the day- to- day operations of the accounting department, ensuring accurate and timely financial transactions and reporting.
Perform financial reports (P/L, BS and CF) and explain the implementation of financial reports to CFO/Group
Mentor and provide guidance to the accounting team, promoting professional growth and ensuring high- quality work.
Understanding of transfer pricing reports/Preparing detailed data for Transfer Pricing.

Having experience using Misa software is an advantage
Proactive problem solving and team leadership.
Write and Speak English at Intermediate level.
Have experience in wholesale/retail industry.
Understand tax regulations and VAS principles
Honesty, integrity, creativity and efficiency, Sirious working attitude
At least 3 years exprience as the same role
Good at presentations, Excel and Power Point.
Good communication: in Vietnamese and English.
Graduated from University of Finance, Accounting and Auditing.
