Chief Accountant

We’re in search of an experienced Chief Accountant with a solid background in the gaming industry to lead our accounting operations. This role is integral to our finance department, requiring a blend of technical expertise, strategic thinking, and leadership. The Chief Accountant will report directly to the Head of Finance and play a crucial role in financial reporting, compliance, and team development.
Role Description
Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets.
Liaise with external auditors during annual audits.
Manage the preparation and consolidation of financial statements, including monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.
Guide and mentor the accounting team towards achieving excellence and efficiency in all processes.
Lead the accounting operations, ensuring alignment with industry standards and compliance with local laws and gaming regulations.
Support the Head of Finance in budgeting, forecasting, and financial strategy.

Requirements:

Proficient in English, both verbal and written.
Proven leadership capabilities and excellent communication skills.
At least 5 years of accounting experience, with a strong preference for candidates with experience in the gaming industry.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA or equivalent qualification preferred.
Demonstrated knowledge of accounting software and financial systems.
