Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

We are looking for Chief Financial Officer who will work directly with CEO for all finance and accounting’s activities at Galaxy Education.

Control budget and approve expenses, ensure all expenses are (1) consistent with approved budgets, (2) strictly follow Company’s processes and procedures;
Define key performance indicators for the company through analysis to drive business decisions and solutions to growth, costs, cash flow, and profitability, etc.
Serve as the vital compliance custodian, including Tax and Financial Regulatory requirements, and drive a best- in- class control environment
Ensure control and governance requirements are met.
Prepares forward looking analyses- focusing not only on past performance, but also foreseeing Risks & Opportunities in coming quarters/years with action plan proposals in order to ensure target achievements.
Strong risk management approach, helping the company identify business risks and implementing appropriate responses to the same.
Leadership of company financing activities, including fundraising through debt and/or equity and management of stakeholder relationships, including shareholders, bankers, auditors, and tax advisors.
Act as a Business Partner and proactively advise to support BOD in business decisions through judgment, highlighting options, trade- offs, risks, and opportunities.
Lead and manage a finance/ accountant team for day- to- day operations to ensure the efficient functioning of this department.

Qualifications

Have experience in fundraising.
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/ Finance/ Auditing required; MSc/ MBA is a plus.
CPA, ACCA, CFA is a strong advantage.
Have experience in finance operation.
Have strong leadership and excellent stakeholder management skills.
Fluent in Microsoft Office, especially in Excel and PowerPoint
Ability to synthesize, analyze, and make sound financial plans/decisions to help preserve and develop the business&039;s assets
Excellent communication and external skills both in English and Vietnamese.
Have more than 10+ years of progressive finance and strategy leadership experience with at least 4 years of Finance Director/ Senior Finance Manager experience.

Skills management required

Experience in building, managing, and leading the Finance & Accounting team.
Leadership skill, decision making skill.

Plus

Have experience working in fast- paced, dynamic environments and with different stakeholders.
Have experience working in field of E- commerce/ Edtech/ Fintech/ Capital Fund.
