We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Commercial Director to lead our Sales and Marketing functions, drive revenue growth, expand market share, and elevate the company’s commercial performance. This role is ideal for a young, high- potential leader from an FMCG MNC background with strong strategic planning ability, excellent English skills, and strong data- driven decision- making capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
Commercial Strategy & Business Growth
• Develop and execute commercial strategies that align Sales, Marketing, and overall business objectives.
• Analyze sales data, market trends, financial reports, and competitor insights to make data- driven business decisions.
• Drive revenue growth, profitability, and customer acquisition to expand market share.
• Identify and evaluate new business opportunities to diversify revenue streams and strengthen market positioning.
Financial Performance & Profitability
• Oversee commercial financial performance through regular analysis and reporting.
• Develop and manage commercial agreements with customers and vendors, including pricing, terms, and conditions.
• Work with profit targets to develop effective pricing strategies and optimize margins.
Market Insights & Competitor Analysis
• Conduct thorough market and competitor analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
• Drive development of product/service enhancements based on insights and customer needs.
Customer Experience & Relationship Management
• Strengthen relationships with key customers, partners, and stakeholders.
• Build and implement customer satisfaction and retention programs.
Leadership & Team Development
• Implement strategic training programs to support team growth and capability building.
• Lead, mentor, and motivate the Sales & Marketing teams to achieve excellence.
• Provide recommendations on organizational structure across Marketing, Sales, Trade Marketing, I&S, and Sales Operations, including:
• Titles & job levels
• Salary framework, bonuses & allowances
• Headcount planning
Talent Management
• Make decisions on recruitment, rotation, and termination for roles from ASM level downward across all commercial departments.
