Data Analyst (Middle)

ABOUT THE JOB

Create data dashboards, graphs, and visualizations
Design and carry out surveys and analyze survey data
Clean and transform data
Develop records management processes and policies
Monitor and audit data quality
Manipulate, analyze, and interpret complex data sets relating to the employer&039;s business
Gather, understand, and document detailed business requirements using appropriate tools and techniques
Produce and track key performance indicators
Provide sector and competitor benchmarking
Mine and analyze large datasets, draw valid inferences, and present them successfully to management using a reporting tool
Develop and support reporting processes
Set up and maintain automated data processes
Enable advanced analytics capabilities that provide meaningful business value through easy- to- understand data visualizations.
Liaise with internal and external clients to fully understand data content
Identify, evaluate, and implement external services and tools to support data validation and cleansing
Identify areas to increase efficiency and automation of processes
Design and build scalable data models
Prepare reports for internal and external audiences using business analytics reporting tools

ABOUT YOU

Familiarity with Azure Blob Storage, Azure Data Lake Store, Power BI, Analysis Services, and Machine Learning Services/Cognitive Services
Advanced data analytics skills including Azure Data Factory, Data Bricks, Data Lake, HD Insights
Good understanding of data and query optimization, query profiling, and query performance monitoring tools and techniques
Bachelor’s degree or college’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent
Knowledge of SQL migration/modernization and Azure SQL Database
2+ years&039; experience with BI technologies and tools like Microsoft Power BI, Tableau
Proven ability to build consensus between teams with differing architecture and design viewpoints and perspectives
Self- motivated, responsible, conscientious, and detail oriented.
Strong analytical and problem- solving skills
Experience implementing solutions on multiple hardware platforms and operating systems
Proficiency in NoSQL databases such as Azure Cosmos DB, MongoDB, Cassandra
