Data Analyst

Job description:

Data Analyst is responsible for collecting and analyzing data related to inventory, order quantities, and sales to optimize inventory management and suggest process improvements

Inventory Data Analysis: Collect and analyze data on current inventory, inbound and outbound stock.

Sales Data Analysis for Recommendations: Analyze sales data to identify fast- and slow- moving products, making recommendations to adjust inventory levels, optimize stock management, and enhance sales performance.

Inventory Management Optimization: Provide recommendations to optimize storage, reduce inventory costs, and avoid overstock or stockouts.

Inventory Forecasting and Planning: Build forecasting models for future product demand based on sales trends, order history, and market factors.

Report Building and Presentation: Create visual reports (dashboards) to monitor inventory and sales in real- time, analyze trends, and provide recommendations to senior management.

Other tasks as assigned by the superior

Historical Sales Data Analysis: Evaluate past sales data, identify trends and product demand, and make accurate forecasts for restocking.

Job Requirements:

- Education: Bachelor&039;s degree in Data Analytics, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related fields such as Economics and Supply Chain Management.

- Experience: At least 1- 3 years of experience in data analysis, with a preference for candidates with experience in the retail or supply chain sectors.

- Technical Skills:

 Proficient in Excel: Strong knowledge of statistical functions, pivot tables, and charts.

 SQL: Proficient in extracting and processing data from databases.

 Power BI or Tableau: Ability to create visual reports and present data to various departments.

- Sales Analysis Skills: Ability to analyze sales data and provide recommendations for inventory optimization and business efficiency improvement.
