Position Objectives: Digital Marketing Specialist is responsible for developing and executing digital campaigns that promote theatrical film releases and enhance audience engagement across digital platforms.
Job Responsibilities
Film Campaign Strategy & Execution
Align activities across teaser, launch, opening week, and sustain phases.
Develop digital & social strategies tailored to each film’s genre and target audience.
Coordinate closely with marketing, PR, and distribution teams.
Execute campaigns across owned social, influencer, and community platforms.
Owned Media – Social Media Management
Manage film content across Facebook, Instagram, Threads, and related platforms.
Develop content pillars: story, cast, reviews, and interactive formats.
Monitor audience response and adjust messaging in real time.
Work with creative teams and vendors to adapt, localize and create digital materials (trailers, banners, short clips, key visuals, interactive content etc.) aligned with global campaigns and local market behavior.
Build, execute and manage content calendars across owned digital platforms to build hype and sustain interest throughout the release cycle.
Influencer, KOL/KOC & PR Activation
Execute group seeding within movie and entertainment communities.
Plan and manage influencer strategies aligned with film positioning.
Handle sourcing, briefing, coordination, and performance evaluation.
Amplify press screenings, reviews, and early audience reactions.
Performance Monitoring & Optimization
Deliver post- campaign insights and recommendations.
Optimize campaigns in real time to ensure effective budget utilization and maximum box office impact.
Work with media teams to amplify high- performing content.
Track, analyze, and report on key campaign metrics (CPM, CTR, CPV, engagement, conversions, etc.) using tools such as Meta Business Suite, Google Analytics, TikTok Ads Manager, and others.
Stakeholder & Partner Collaboration
Work with influencers, cinema chains, and media partners for digital activations and promotions.
Coordinate closely with film studios, internal marketing and PR teams, and media agencies to ensure campaigns are aligned and approved.
Innovation & Market Trends
Stay informed on digital trends in the film and entertainment industry, audience behavior, and competitor activity.
Proactively suggest new digital tactics to boost film awareness and audience engagement.
