Finance and General Accountant

Liaise with external auditor to complete audited financial statement and CIT finalization.
Coordinate with Shared service team in Malaysia to ensure the book keeping in line with the global accounting standard and process.
Prepare journal entries and packages for closing purpose according to VAS and IFRS.
Verify payable accounts and supporting documents in alignment with audit and tax requirement.
Perform other accounting duties and supporting colleagues as required and assigned
Prepare routine payments in timely manner.
Optimize processes to improve efficiency and ensure internal control quality under the Group standards.
Prepare VAT, FCT declaration in timely manner.
Balance sheet management and cash flow projections based on the approved budget.
Responsible for overall accounting activities: journal preparation and posting, account clearance, month- end closing, balance reconciliation.

Education
Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance/Auditing or relevant major, SAP experience is a plus.
Experience

Experience in business partnering role and excellent execution skills.
Having at least 05- 08 years experiences in overall finance, accounting, tax and cash management. Retail experience is considered merit but not necessary.
Proficient in Microsoft office especially in Excel, SAP and another ERP system.
Adaptable to change, flexibility with Retail operation support while maintain the accuracy, compliance, and risk management.
Good verbal and written communication English skills at business level.
