Garment Merchandiser (Technical Experience Required)

Tech Pack Review & Development Planning
Work with pattern maker to prepare and adjust patterns based on buyer requirements.
Support preparing or adjusting Tech Packs, measurement charts, and basic technical drawings when needed.
Review tech pack from customer and prepare internal technical documents.
Check garment construction details such as:
Seam types
Stitching methods
Topstitch details
Binding / taping
Reinforcement areas
Ensure stitching and workmanship follow buyer’s requirements and factory capability.
Clarify unclear technical points with overseas partners.
Sample Follow- up
Receive buyer comments and follow up corrections with factory.
Manage sample stages such as Proto, SMS, Photo sample.
Follow up sample development from pattern stage to finished sample.
Check measurement and workmanship before sending.
Make sure samples are sent on time.
Inspect construction and stitching quality before sending samples.
Order & Production Follow- up
Ensure bulk production follows approved sample.
Solve issues during production if any.
Follow up bulk production progress.
Receive Purchase Order from customer.
Follow shipment schedule to ensure on- time delivery.
Confirm production timeline with factory.
Monitor critical construction and stitching points during production.
Communication
Communicate daily with overseas partners regarding:
Costing
Sample status
Production timeline
Technical clarification
Work closely with factory teams.
Update order and sample status regularly.

Able to calculate consumption and prepare costing sheet.
Good English communication (email).
Experience in export orders preferred.
Bachelor’s degree in Garment Technology, Textile Engineering or related field.
Strong understanding of garment construction and stitching techniques.
Minimum 3 years working experience in garment factory (sample room, technical, or merchandising).
Experience preparing or reviewing Tech Packs.
Able to work with pattern makers and review technical drawings.
Careful, responsible, and strong follow- up skills.
