General Accountant

Develop and implement activities for collecting, analyzing, verifying, reporting accounting and financial data in accordance with the company’s plan to manage and control the financial as well as accounting process. Through corporate policy, practice, and system controls, ensure that all financial, accounting, payroll, and tax activities are in compliance with the law and regulations.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Handling the accountant&039;s reports in a professional manner.
Management of revenue, expenses, goods, fixed assets, …
Manage and control the entire operations of the accounting department.
Perform other duties related to accounting and finance when required.
Supervise all transactions in the accounting process, ensure the adequacy of internal and external reports.
Review all payment and petty cash vouchers.
Deal with Tax and relevant authorities.
Maintain accounting records and prepare financial statements in line with Vietnamese Government and Company’s standards.
Declare and submit VAT/PIT/CIT & WHT.
Other tasks assigned by the HQ.
Set up an annual budget.
Deal with the auditors annually for the final financial reports.
Directly report to the Board of Directors the financial and accounting situation, the implementation of financial plans monthly, quarterly and annually.
Supervise and prepare monthly tax reports.
Ensure all revenue, sales & costs are properly recognized to meet HQ monthly closing deadline.
Prepare financial statements, monthly/quarterly/yearly tax reports and submit them to the Board of Directors or any related Government departments.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

Expertise in tax and accountancy.
Experienced in financial analysis, proficient in using MISA, FAST accounting software is preferred.
Interpersonal and communication skills.
International or start- up company experience will be an advantage.
English (or Korean) communication skills.
Experience in people management, assessment and work management.
Capable of manipulating large amounts of data. Having extensive accounting knowledge, understanding accounting laws, regulations and standards.
Strong attention to detail with the ability to multitask.
