General Accountant

Prepare monthly tax statements for review by the Finance Manager. Submit these to the tax authorities on a timely basis.
Prepare the monthly bank reconciliation. Journalize all relevant bank reconciling entriest. Verify that all necessary entries to the general ledger from the bank statement are made.
Review detailed general ledger to ensure proper expense and income allocation and assist the Finance Manager in preparation of all balance sheet schedules and reconciliations. Sign the G/L report for confirmation of review.
Supervise all accounting activities and provide guidance to accounting staff in all areas of work. Ensure accuracy of all reports submitted by other accounting staff.
Responsible for all entries made (or posted) to the general ledger.
Verify that all financial information from the various accounting subsystems is posted.
Performs the job in accounting department as: following and checking on bank transaction, payment transfer, receivable and payable, issuing VAT invoice; input data into accounting software
Review payroll calculations and record all matters relating to payroll withholding, vacation, sick and absence records.
Assist the Finance Manager in preparation of financial statements in compliance with all governmental, and hotel international regulations.
Responsible for the recording and accurate filing of all fixed assets on the fixed asset ledger. Timely recording the depreciation for all hotel assets.

Minimum 3 years of similar experiences
Good problem- solving abilities
Proficient with the use of computer packages such as Microsoft Office, Excel, and Word
