As an Accountant with expertise in the Food & Beverage industry, you will play a crucial role in managing the financial operations of our company. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial reports, and providing strategic insights to support decision- making processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles, along with hands- on experience in the F&B sector.
What you&039;ll do
Internal Financial Auditing and Management:
Conducting Financial Audits: Perform detailed financial audits of all transactions involving restaurant business.
Preparing Financial Reports and Analyses: Control, monitor and be responsible for general accounting reports monthly, quarterly.
Developing and Implementing Financial Controls: Create and enforce effective financial controls and procedures to protect company assets and ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
External Tax Work:
Preparing and Filing Tax Returns: Collect data, prepare tax reports and finalize taxes according to regulations.
Responding to Tax Inquiries: Address government inquiries promptly and thoroughly, providing required documentation and explanations to ensure compliance and minimize risks.
Assisting Company Leadership with Financial Analysis and Decision- making:
Providing Financial Data and Analysis: Gather and analyze financial data, presenting findings to support strategic decisions and offering recommendations for optimization.
Managing the Company&039;s Budget: Assist in developing and monitoring the company&039;s budget, identifying areas for cost reduction and efficiency improvement to enhance financial performance.
What you have
3- 5 years of experience in the same position, especially strong experience in tax accounting.
Conversational level of English is preferred.
Strong understanding of accounting principles and procedures
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
Bachelor&039;s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA or equivalent certification preferred.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting roles within the Food & Beverage industry.
