General Accountant GemCommerce

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Middle/Senior Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five years of experience in general accounting and hold a Chief Accountant Certification. As a Senior Accountant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining compliance with accounting standards, and providing financial insights to support decision- making.

You’ll do
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes, including providing financial insights and recommendations to optimize financial performance.
• Stay updated on accounting standards, regulations, and industry best practices to ensure compliance and propose process improvements.
• Oversee month- end and year- end closing activities, journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statement preparation.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Prepare and review tax returns, ensuring compliance with tax laws and optimizing tax planning strategies.
• Conduct financial analysis, including variance analysis and trend analysis, to provide insights and support strategic decision- making.
• Collaborate with external auditors and tax advisors to support audits and address any compliance- related issues.
• Manage general ledger accounts, ensuring accurate recording and documentation of financial transactions.
• Establish and maintain internal controls and compliance measures to safeguard company assets and ensure adherence to relevant regulations
• Provide guidance, support, and training to junior accounting staff, promoting their professional development and enhancing the overall team performance.

You Have…
• In- depth knowledge of accounting principles, standards, and regulations (including VAS and IFRS is a plus).
• Good Communication and English skills
• Bachelor&039;s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross- functional teams.
• Chief Accountant Certification or similar professional certification.
• Proven ability to meet deadlines and work in a fast- paced environment.
• Proficiency in accounting software.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial analysis and reporting.
• Strong analytical and problem- solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in general accounting preferred strong understanding of tax laws and regulations.

• Flexible working time:
- Afternoon: 1:00 pm- 5:45 pm (check out from 5:00 pm to 5:45 pm)
- Morning: 8:00 am- 12:00 pm (check in from 8:00 am to 8:45 am)
