General Accountant - Hotel

Assist in physical counts of fixed assets and inventories.
Verify that all ledgers and supporting documentation are filed and in order.
Complete all journals and journal vouchers entry and prepare the trial balance. Submit them to the Director of Finance and Assistant Director of Finance for review and after receiving approval, prepare the monthly financial reports.
Review payroll calculation performed by Paymaster and journalize as labor expense.
Provide guidance in accounting processes to other related sections and advise superiors onways to improve accounting processes.
Assist the Assistant Director of Finance Business Partner in the calculation and payment ofbusiness and payroll taxes.
Submit summaries of closing to the Assistant Director of Finance.
Balance the G/L and S/L monthly matching all G/L balances with S/L balances and verifying the details of each balance.
Calculate labor and other expense distributions and prepare the related journal vouchers.
Preparation of other vouchers as instructed by the Director of Finance and Assistant Director of Finance Business Partner.
Prepare the necessary documents for internal and external auditors in their audit ofaccounting the hotel.
Prepare monthly prepaid and accrued expenses journal vouchers.
Prepare bank reconciliation.
The General Accountant is in charge of maintaining the G/L and Sub Ledgers including the accounts receivable and payable ledgers and journal & journal voucher entries.

University graduate with major in Accounting.
Stable and cautions with figures.
Oral and Written fluency in English.
Computer knowledge, proficiency in MS Office
Hotel accounting in A/P, A/R and uniform accounting system.
Outgoing, Career minded, Mature and ability to supervise.
Good understanding of local languages is desired.
Degree in accounting or CPA is preferred.
Tactful and sensitive to employee&039;s needs.
Team- worker and good supervisor.
3- 4 years&039; experience in similar position.
