General Accountant - Import And Export

• Provide support during financial audits and liaise with external auditors.
• Conduct regular audits of import/export transactions to ensure accuracy and rectitude.
• Identify areas for process improvement and implement best practices in accounting operations.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards, tax laws, and regulations governing international trade.
• Prepare and maintain financial statements, reports, and analyses to support decision- making.
• Monitor cash flow and manage accounts receivable/payable processes.
• Manage and oversee all financial transactions related to import and export activities.
• Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts related to import and export activities.
• Collaborate with the logistics and supply chain teams to track and record inventory movements.
• Prepare and submit necessary documentation for customs clearance and compliance.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting, preferably in import and export.
• Strong knowledge of international accounting regulations and trade practices.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Detail- oriented with strong analytical and problem- solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast- paced environment.
• Fluency in English; proficiency in additional languages is an advantage.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with customs compliance and import/export regulations is a plus.
