General Accountant

Overview

We are seeking a detail- oriented and organized General Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records, performing day- to- day accounting tasks, and contributing to the overall financial health of our small business. As an Accounting Staff, you will work closely with the finance team to ensure compliance with accounting principles and provide valuable insights for strategic decision- making.

Reporting Structure

The General Accountant will report directly to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), playing a vital role in supporting the finance department. This position involves collaboration with other team members and may require interaction with executives for financial reporting and analysis.

Responsibilities
Bookkeeping:

Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts.
Record day- to- day financial transactions accurately and timely.
Ensure all financial records are in compliance with accepted policies and procedures.

Accounts Payable and Receivable:

Manage accounts payable and receivable to ensure timely payments and collections.
Process invoices, payments, and expenses.

Financial Reporting:

Assist in preparing budgetary and financial reports for internal and external stakeholders.
Generate financial reports for management review.

Compliance:

Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
Stay informed about changes in accounting regulations and standards

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
Bachelor&039;s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Proven experience in accounting roles.
Language Skills: Fluency in English, and Chinese is a good bonus.
