Global General Accountant ( Portugal Fluent)

Prepares financial reports (export from system);
Review Financial Statements from local accountant to ensure the accuracy of the FS.
Maintains historical records by filing documents;
Complies with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying requirements; enforcing adherence to requirements; filing reports; advising management on needed actions;
Other tasks assigned by Financial Controller;
Develops system to account for financial transactions by establishing a chart of accounts;
Defining bookkeeping policies and procedures for US , EU entities
Review supporting documents and make payment requests in the system;
Balances subsidiary accounts by reconciling entries;
Maintains subsidiary accounts by verifying, allocating, and posting transactions;
Maintains general ledger by transferring subsidiary account summaries;
Balances general ledger by preparing a trial balance; reconciling entries;
Reviews periodic accounts and supports accounting related issues of other offices;

Experience with budgeting and financial reporting;Experience with bookkeeping foreign entities ( especially US, UK, EU) is a big plus
Highly organized, with a focus on attention to detail;
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills;
Intermediate- Upper Intermediate level of English + Portugal (written & spoken),
Having experience in Accounting;
Must have a Bachelor&039;s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field;
Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
Strong organization and problem- solving skills;
