As a Business Development Manager for the Ground Transportation business unit, you will drive growth for our OTA business by expanding our network of ground transportation partners, including buses, coaches, shuttles, and rental services. This strategic role requires a deep understanding of the ground transportation market, a customer- centric mindset, and a proven track record in business development.
You will play a key role in shaping our ground transportation offerings, working with partners to enhance service quality, increase booking volumes, and improve customer experience. Your insights will be crucial to identifying new opportunities, negotiating competitive contracts, and fostering long- term relationships that align with our growth objectives.
What you will do
Product Enhancement: Work with cross- functional teams, including product, operations, and customer service, to improve offerings, implement partner feedback, and optimize user experience.
Market Expansion: Identify and secure partnerships with ground transportation providers to expand our offerings across regions, prioritizing strategic routes and high- demand destinations.
Negotiation and Contracts: Lead negotiations to secure competitive pricing, terms, and exclusive deals, enhancing our value proposition to customers and supporting our competitive edge.
Sales & Revenue Growth: Develop and implement strategies to increase booking volumes, meet revenue targets, and capture market share within the ground transportation sector.
Market Research: Conduct in- depth market analysis to stay informed on trends, customer preferences, and competitive movements within the ground transportation space.
Relationship Management: Develop strong relationships with key partners, including bus operators, car rental companies, ensuring mutual growth and a seamless service experience for customers on the App.
Performance Tracking: Monitor KPIs and analyze performance data to refine strategies, increase profitability, and deliver sustainable growth.
What you will need
Excellent communication, analytical, and project management skills.
3+ years of experience in business development, preferably within the travel, transportation, or e- commerce industry.
Strong understanding of the ground transportation industry, customer behavior, and digital booking trends.
Proven experience negotiating high- value contracts and building B2B partnerships.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
