JOB DESCRIPTION
OBJECTIVES OF THIS ROLE
This is a very exciting role in dynamic & forward thinking. The Sales Intern is to support both B2B and B2C sales activities and assist the Business Development Manager and senior staff by performing administrative and entry- level duties while gaining experience in the Travel/Tourism Industry.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Business Development:
Update sales records/reports
Conduct small- scale market researches to identify potential segments
Make partially sales kit or pitch proposal
Attend occasional client meetings (offline or online) and provide meeting notes afterward
Organize and clean up weekly or monthly lead database
Search, find and connect to decision makers or contact points in targeted clients/business partners
Intern’s Duties:
Research and update industry news to identify opportunities/clients
Do other admin tasks when required.
Support proposal and contract preparations as required.
Set up meetings and prepare materials for department organized events.
REQUIREMENTS
Experience: Previous sales internship (or experience) preferred but not required.
Qualification: Currently pursuing a 3- or 4- year undergraduate degree or postgraduate degree.
Skills:
Sales- oriented
Enjoy networking and cultivating relationships
Fluent in the national local language and English
Strong communication skills for internal & external purposes
Proficient with Microsoft Office applications
Knowledge:
Passion in Travel/Tourism Industry
Understanding the Destination Management system is preferred but not required
Attributes:
Smart – good judgment and intuition around the subtleties of group dynamics and the impact of your words and actions
Humble – quick to point out the contributions of others, share credit, emphasize team over self, and define success collectively rather than individually

Working Hours: 4 days a week 9:00 AM to 6.00 PM.
Three- month, extendable internship contract with monthly allowance package
