Homebase is currently looking for potential candidates for the position of Legal Officer. The Legal Officer position at Homebase will act as a "connector" between the Legal Department, Business Development Department, and customers to support the processing of related paperwork to complete transactions. As the "face of the Company”, the Legal Officer position will help you gain knowledge, experiences and have the opportunity to advance quickly at Homebase. The candidate will have the opportunity to work directly with core members of our high-performing team and will have the following responsibilities:

• Perform legal research;

• Drafting and reviewing high-stake legal contracts;

• Work with notary offices, land registration offices, investors, and state agencies;

• Legal review of real estate properties / projects;

• Ensure compliance and stay up-to-date with regulatory changes;

• Filing of documents, contracts, and legal reports;

• Perform other legal work assigned by the department head.

We are looking for candidates who fulfill the following criteria: 

• Live and work in Ho Chi Minh City;

• Graduated, or about to graduate with a Bachelor's degree in Law with high academic standing from a top local or international university;

• Experience working in the real estate and/or legal field  are pluses; 

• Have interest and passion for real estate industry;

• Able to travel outside of HCMC to fulfill legal requirements from time to time;

• Careful and meticulous in drafting and reviewing contracts;

• Good verbal and written English communication proficiency;

Homebase is looking for a talented candidate to join the team as a Legal Intern. The candidate will have the opportunity to work directly with core members of our high-performing team and will have the following responsibilities:

• Spearhead elaborate and comprehensive legal research that would potentially drive multi-million dollar revenue transactions for the company;

• Prepare and ensure high accuracy of contracts for services that the company engages in;

• Assist in the purchase and sale of the company’s properties;

• Work on corporate compliance tasks such as preparing resolutions, meeting minutes, corporate registration procedures, and applying for necessary permits for the company’s operation; 

• Work with local authorities in an extensive manner to comply with the law and resolve issues for the company;

• Other tasks assigned by the Line Manager.

Our internship program provides hands-on experience and opportunities for active participation in company projects, rather than simply observing from the sidelines.

We are looking for candidates who fulfill the following criteria:

• Based in HCMC;

• 3rd or 4th year law student at a good local or international university with high academic standing;

• Have good logical and critical thinking;

• Detail-oriented and meticulous in preparing and reviewing contracts;
