Gecko Travel Recruitment are so excited to be working exclusively with this wonderful Travel Group who are hiring a Head of Finance to join their team on a permanent basis.
We&039;re looking for an individual with expertise in cross- border finance, a strong sense of integrity, excellent interpersonal skills, effective communication abilities, and a deep passion for the positive influence travel can have on youth.
Minimum 8 years experience ideally within the travel space is essential to be considered for this role.
As Head of Finance you will oversee the strategic planning, execution, management, and operation of all financial activities across the company&039;s global operations.
The role:
Acting as a prominent managerial figure within the company, serving as a liaison between our teams and crucial stakeholders, including shareholders and investors
Providing financial updates to the team, CEO and Board of Directors
Taking the lead in ensuring the company is financially ready and prepared to grow
Overseeing the Finance Manager and ensuring the department is meeting all global requirements
Serving as the primary financial representative in all significant strategic meetings
You will have:
Degree + additional qualifications + experience in accounting / finance
The capability to make decisive yet prudent strategic choices that drive our growth objectives while remaining consistent with our values and mission
Ability to work with and inspire teams across a variety of departments
Minimum 8 years working in finance, and experience in senior managerial roles
Passion for travel or experience in Educational travel
