Role Overview
You will oversee existing product performance, develop new branded products, manage sourcing and manufacturing partners, and ensure all products meet regulatory, quality, and market expectations. This role requires deep expertise in nutraceuticals, strong commercial acumen, and the ability to translate market insights into winning product strategies.
The Head of Product will lead the full product lifecycle for our nutraceutical portfolio — from concept to commercialization to performance optimization. This role is central to shaping our product strategy, ensuring product quality and compliance across markets, and driving profitable growth through innovation, strong supplier partnerships, and data‑driven decision- making.
Key Responsibility:
Product Strategy & Portfolio Management
• Develop and manage the budget for product development at both regional and local levels to aim for cost effectiveness and ensure execution remains strictly within the approved budget.
• Define specific product strategies for individual countries while maintaining a cohesive product strategy for the whole regions
New Product Development (NDP) pipelines.
• Local Quality & Commercial Oversight: Continuously monitor the quality and sales performance of locally implemented products.
• Local Execution Design: Design the process of product development for local execution for those products where countries are authorized for their own initiation and implementation (e.g., local packaging, rebranding, small formulation tweaks).
• Dual- Track NPD Strategy: Design and manage distinctive Product Development strategies and processes for different lines of products: Performance (Affiliate Products) and Branding Products. Strategically allocate human and financial resources to effectively manage both pipelines.
Pricing, Merchandising & Commercial Support
• Collaborative Strategy Leadership: Lead the development of pricing and commercial plans, including a comprehensive sales strategy that focuses on both first- time buyers and maximizing Customer Lifetime Value (CLV), in close collaboration with key stakeholders such as Country General Managers and the Regional Head of Operations/COO, Head of Finance.
• Drive continuous improvement on sales performance.
Regulatory, Compliance & Quality Assurance
• Handle the cross- border Import/Export movement process (logistics, documentation) to optimize or balance product inventory across all countries.
Market Research & Product Sales Analytics for Continuous Improvements
• Use market research and data analytics to inform and drive continuous product development at country level and regional level.
Cross- Functional Leadership
• Demonstrate leadership that is comfortable working with diverse cultural ethnicities and diversities
