We are looking for a detail- oriented and motivated HR Intern to join our team. This internship will focus on supporting HR data management, dashboard reporting, and PowerPoint presentation creation. The ideal candidate has strong skills in Excel and a keen eye for data accuracy, visualization, and storytelling through reports. Additionally, the intern will assist in coordinating engagement activities to foster a positive workplace culture. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands- on experience in HR analytics and employee engagement while developing key professional skills in a dynamic work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Data Management:
Regularly update and ensure data accuracy within HR databases and spreadsheets.
Assist in maintaining and organizing HR data in Excel.
Perform data entry, validation, and basic analysis as required.
Dashboard Reporting:
Use Excel (and other relevant tools) to generate visual insights, charts, and pivot tables.
Collaborate with the HR team to define data requirements for ongoing reports.
Support the development and upkeep of HR dashboards to track key metrics (e.g., employee attendance, recruitment status, and performance metrics).
Presentation Preparation:
Tailor reports and presentations for different audiences (e.g., HR leadership, team managers).
Support HR events and meetings with data- driven presentations.
Prepare visually engaging and informative PowerPoint presentations to summarize HR data insights.
Engagement Activities:
Analyze feedback data and prepare reports on engagement activity impact.
Gather employee feedback through surveys and other methods to assess engagement levels.
Assist in planning and coordinating employee engagement activities (e.g., townhall meeting, wellness programs, and new initiatives).
HR Department Additional Support:
Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas on data management, reporting best practices, and employee engagement initiatives.
Assist in various HR projects as needed, especially those requiring data analysis or reporting.
