IT Engineer

IT engineer/technician to discuss system needs and help troubleshoot any network and software issues experienced by employees. They are called upon to train the company staff on newly implemented or installed hardware and software systems and fix the software, hardware, and network issues at the company. They respond to and address IT issues and general IT- related concerns or requests. IT engineer/technician is responsible for the installment and maintenance of both a company&039;s computer systems and its computing systems. They work as part of the IT team and utilize computers and telecommunications to control, gather, and store information, and are called upon to use their technical knowledge to solve the company&039;s technological challenges that arise.
Track project timelines, and budgets.
Able to do programming and program coding.
Provide feedback to the General Manager when timeline or resourcing constraints develop.
Help to evaluate vendor products to make recommendations for purchase.
Attend regular customer and team department meetings as scheduled.
May act as a technical lead on projects as assigned.
Fluent in a variety of programming languages, software, scripting, and systems.
Able to understand web technologies.
Ensure effective handoff to the operations team for ongoing maintenance and troubleshooting.
Preparation of literature reviews and other analytical work as requested.
Participate in the estimation and planning of iterative/agile releases.
Oversee data entry and system accuracy functions.
Oversee every aspect of assigned primetime series on the network, cable, and streaming services.
Implement programs in all disciplines to conform to district and state curriculum and/or instructional objectives.
Troubleshoot, and devise solutions to complex operational problems within the capacity and operation.
Effectively communicate priorities and work direction to complete assigned tasks on time and within budget.

Bachelor&039;s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or IT- related field.
Ability to provide end- user support and training on IT systems and applications.
Fluent in a variety of programming languages, software, scripting, and systems.
Familiarity with web services, WPF applications, or Microsoft Reporting Service.
At least 3 years of experience in technical support, system engineering, system administration, database administration, and software development.
Able to understand web technologies.
Strong problem- solving skills and a service- minded attitude.
