Role
• Responsible for supporting and maintaining the company’s overall IT systems and for providing efficient desktop support to all business users.
• Responsible for resolving any IT- related faults quickly and efficiently, including a broad range of queries from how to set up an email account to system diagnostics, plus enhancing and developing the IT provision extended within the business.
Duties & Responsibilities
* General:
• Receive and follow assignments from BoD
• Perform miscellaneous job- related duties as assigned by BoD;
• Follow company regulations, NDA and code of business conduct;
Helpdesk Support and IT Administration:
• Implement, maintain, and ensure maximum uptime for IT systems.
• Ensure minimal downtime or interruption to staff productivity
• Provide help desk and technical services assistance to employees.
• Manage all aspects of the implementation and operation of information and functional systems for the Company, including software applications, network, phone systems and end- user computers.
• Oversee all IT support requests, incidents and problems; act as escalation point and manage all IT Helpdesk processes for communicating outage/emergency activities to the Company.
• Audit IT systems and assess their outcomes, present results to BoD
• Oversee the provisioning of the end- user services.
• Provide monthly presentation to BoD on improvements proposed/ planned and related budget, on critical issues/ problematic areas to be resolved and IT audit result.
• Identify problematic areas, IT issues and implement strategic solutions in time
Data Monitoring & Maintenance, Backup and Security:
• Administers user accounts
• Ensure and manage user access rights are set up correctly and permanently reviewed
• Ensure security of information technology assets, data, network access, and backup systems.
• Ensure frequent Back- ups of management working stations and all servers
• Maintain inventory and details of IT Equipment including asset numbers and user registers
• Ensure integrity of databases is maintained and monitored
• Ensure Software licencing in full compliance with requirements and instructions
IT Policy Development:
• Develop and enhance Information Systems policies and procedural manuals to assure data accuracy, security, legal and regulatory compliance.
• Develop best practices and written documentation for all server maintenance.
Team Management & IT Budget:
• Manage IT staff, which includes hiring, preparing Job Description, training, guidance, and discipline.
• Check and sign daily reports from IT staff
• Manage annual IT budget and ensure cost effectiveness.
• Manage hardware and software vendor relationships
Others:
• Support Directory to develop management software.
• Submit reports to BOD, including but not limited to all reporting responsibilities:
Monthly IT Asset and Software License report
Weekly IT operation report
Monthly Ticketing report
Weekly Back up report
Monthly reports shall be submitted latest until the 6th of the following month.
