IT Support Engineer

- Basic Linux system (e.g. Centos 7) administration skills
- Sound knowledge of server hardware maintenance (e.g. 1U/2U servers)
- Regularly test the integrity and recoverability of backup data.
- Ability to configure and manage VLANs, QoS to optimize factory networks.
- Implement basic setup and monitoring of network intrusion detection systems (IDS).
- Configure and manage file servers and implement data categorization and storage policies.
- Manage licensing, upgrading and troubleshooting of software specific to textile equipment
- Implement data encryption measures to protect sensitive production data.
- Collaborate with production technicians to diagnose network related equipment operational issues.
- Maintain network equipment to ensure stable communication between textile machines and control systems.
- Knowledge of VPN setup to ensure secure access to remote devices.
- Regular inspection and maintenance of network security equipment (firewalls, intrusion detection systems)
- Familiarity with network protocols and concepts such as TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, etc.
- Maintain electronic access control systems, including troubleshooting of card readers and locks.
- Ability to configure and manage firewall rules to protect the internal network.
- Troubleshooting operational problems of operating systems (Windows, specific industrial software), application software, printers and other peripherals
- Create and maintain a detailed inventory of IT assets, including equipment serial numbers, purchase dates and warranty status.
- Proficient in Windows 10/11 operating system installation, setup and troubleshooting
- Monitor camera operation status to ensure recording quality and storage integrity.

- College degree or above in Computer Science, Information Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related fields.
- Fluent in Chinese (Putonghua preferred)
- Ability to communicate with local staff in basic technical skills in Vietnamese (Vietnamese language skills preferred)
- At least 2 years of IT support experience, preferably in an industrial environment or manufacturing industry.
