Job Description:
To drive the full implementation of the Lean Manufacturing System at the WGR factory, continuously improving production efficiency, reducing operating costs, and optimizing product quality.
Responsible for process technical support and problem- solving on the production floor, ensuring the stability and innovation of the production processes for solid- wood furniture, metal products, and upholstery products.
To achieve comprehensive improvement in production efficiency, material utilization rate, and On- Time Delivery (OTD) through technical improvements and process optimization.
Key Responsibilities:
Lean Manufacturing System Development and Promotion:
• Lead the planning, introduction, and implementation of the Lean Manufacturing System at the factory. This includes, but is not limited to, 6S, Value Stream Mapping (VSM), Standardized Work, Single- Minute Exchange of Die (SMED), and Pull Production.
• Establish a key performance indicator (KPI) system for metrics like Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), Work- In- Process (WIP) inventory, and production cycle time, and regularly report on improvement results.
• Identify production efficiency bottlenecks and waste areas through data analysis and on- site diagnostics, then develop and implement improvement plans.
Production Technology and Process Management:
• Provide immediate technical support and training by going deep into the production site to promptly resolve technical and process issues during production.
• Responsible for defining, optimizing, and supervising the execution of full- process process standards for solid- wood furniture (cutting, solid- wood processing, joining and shaping, UV assembly), metal products (cutting, bending, coating), and upholstery products (cutting, sewing, filling, covering).
• Lead the assessment, pilot testing, and promotion of introducing new materials, processes, and equipment
to enhance technical competitiveness. Lead the assessment, pilot testing, and promotion of introducing
new materials, processes, and equipment to enhance technical competitiveness.
Efficiency Improvement and Cost Control:
• Increase output per person (man- hour productivity) and Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) through process optimization, production line balancing, and equipment modification.
• Lead cost reduction projects, focusing on key areas such as improving material utilization rate, reducing energy consumption
, and controlling
scrap rate. Lead cost reduction projects, focusing on key areas such as improving material utilization rate, reducing energy consumption, and controlling scrap rate.
• Drive feasibility studies for automated and semi- automated modifications, gradually advancing the upgrade to Smart Manufacturing.
Team Development and Cross- Departmental Collaboration
• Assist in formulating skill- level assessment standards for production employees to enhance the overall skill level of the team.
• Cultivate the production team&039;s Lean awareness and technical capabilities, organizing regular training and skills competitions.
• Collaborate with Production, Quality, Equipment/Maintenance, and R&D departments to ensure the cross- functional implementation of technical improvement projects.
