HSE- S Management:
HSES & Sustainability: Establish a culture and build processes in logistics to meet the HSES & Sustainability goals.
Responsible for HSES SAQ- Supply Chain Aspects.
Plan and execute audit hauliers, tracking the pending items and follow through to ensure it get done.
Responsible for management of RMWH and Finished Goods Warehouse & external 3PL warehouses, maintaining 5S, HSES, Gemba, BBS.
Warehouse Management:
Maintain the FIFO for Warehouses through ERP system, and control inventory levels; reconciling with data storage system to maintain stock accuracy and minimize variance. Identify and resolve any inventory discrepancies and ensure inventory and system records are in agreement.
Maintain dock and storage facilities in an organized manner; plan future capacity requirements. Ensure the integrity of inventory accuracy and manage stock movements with the help of direct reports
To review, revise and develop SOP and training to warehouse staff in order to manage all warehouse activities in high efficiency.
Overall management and supervision activities of RMWH and FG Warehouses including inbound, storage, outbound both inhouse & external 3PL warehouse as per standard operating procedures.
Transportation Management:
Drive a culture of Continuous improvement to meet key targets on OTIF and cost; to formulate and implement transportation- related procedures as well as company revenue goals and customer service objectives.
Transportation management for both local and export, ensure that shipments into or out of an organization are handled quickly, safely, and within budget constraints.
Export management: Intercompany dispatches (ICD) – scheduling the export dispatches as per customer requirements meeting OTIF and cost targets. Maintains knowledge of best practices including the most efficient and cost- effective shipping methods.
Manage performance of service providers with emphasis on productivity, efficiency, and service delivery.
Identify cost saving projects, monitor and track spending.
Delivery to projects:
Coordinate with OET, QA, RD&I and Sales team in solving claims/complaints.
Support the appropriate transport models to deliver the SLA commitment in terms of lead- time, MOQ and cost effectiveness for company.
Align with Sales team for Service Level Agreement to all regions in North & North Central based on the customer feedback and competition benchmark. Regularly review SLA from Depot Tinting to Projects customers for continuous improvement.
Develop knowledge and capability of the distributor team especially in software warehouse operation management.
Consult 3PL in managing and implementing the HSE&S activities including haulier audits, distribution risk management, induction training to drivers, 3PL staff,…
Depot Tinting Management:
Provide needed support to project team members, remove barriers to make step change to the end results.
Review the monthly KPI and quarterly audit and drive the continuous improvement of operations with Depot Tinting warehouse and Logistic managers to meet customers requirements.
Identify people capability gaps to provide training needs to them to anticipate for future business growth.
Manage the operation of Depot Tinting to ensure its capacity meeting the business requirement, the quality of colour accuracy and productivity.
Provide consultant to 3PL warehouse manager to ensure the warehouse operations compliant to the HSE&S requirements.
Provide tool and methodologies to 02 external Depots to manage the warehouse operation including receiving stock from MPWH and tollers, storage & cycle counting, receiving & processing customer orders through Order Entry team.
Coordinate with OET, QA, RD&I and Sales team in solving claims/complaints.
Ensure the new Colour quality control process in place, all colour matchers are trained and qualified to deliver the standard colour accuracy for servicing Projects business.
Manage inhouse depot tinting at site to comply to SOP.
Keep continuous improvement to improve for tinting capability by minimum colour variation and increase tinting capability.
CAPEX/OPEX management:
Responsible for the management of the Logistics budget.
Plan and ensure logistic capacity to deliver demand using available best practices technology. Develop and obtain approval of logistic capital plan & lead execution of capex budgets within logistics.
People Management:
Set departmental objectives/KPIs and review and assess ongoing performance of direct reports.
Report on achievement of targets and identify any actions required.
Ensure that all functions under supervision operate in accordance with health, safety and environmental policies and procedures to ensure the safety and wellbeing of staff and visitors.
Manage, coach and develop a high performing team that meets agreed objectives and delivers best practice results, added value and continuous improvements.
Reporting and Continuous improvement:
Continuous improvement through ALPS deliver. Being CI Lead practitioner, train other team members to drive logistics improvement projects.
Support continuous improvement initiatives and identify inefficiencies and cost optimization opportunities; Identify savings by removing waste or unnecessary steps in the logistics process.
Support new business initiatives and projects and contribute to review meetings and change process. Ensure effective logistics implementation takes place relating to the changes.
Ensure metrics, reports, and process documentation is available; Interpret trends and analyses and review data. Provide meaningful logistics data to others in the organization to aid customer service and cost improvements
Assess and make recommendations for logistics processes in potential new facilities or plants and advise of cost implications and efficiency
