Production Manager (Battery Line)

- Conduct training sessions to instill safety, operational, and quality standards among the production team.
- Ensure production aligns with vehicle assembly requirements by maintaining quality and quantity standards.
- Monitor production progress on an hourly and daily basis, addressing deviations immediately.
- Enforce safety protocols and conduct regular safety audits to maintain a hazard- free work environment.
- Collaborate with cross- functional teams (CFT) as a key member in GEMBA for on- site problem- solving.
- Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to optimize processes, reduce waste, and cut costs.
- Actively address and resolve production- related problems and issues to minimize disruptions.
- Build and lead a high- performing team culture focused on productivity, quality, and morale.
- Ensure smooth implementation of the single- piece flow concept for efficient and waste- free operations.
- Guide and train shift technicians and engineers, enhancing their skills and fostering leadership qualities.
- Track and report key performance indicators, including production efficiency, quality metrics, and downtime.
- Implement lean manufacturing practices, 5S, QMS, Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) standards across the battery line.
- Drive compliance with PQCDSM metrics to achieve continuous improvement in production.
- Promote a collaborative, safety- focused team culture.
- Develop and oversee production schedules to meet daily, weekly, and monthly battery output targets.
- Prepare and present detailed reports for daily, weekly, and monthly Management Information System (MIS) reviews.

- Proficiency in SAP or similar ERP systems for production tracking and reporting is a plus.
- Experience in problem- solving and addressing production- related challenges.
- Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Automobile, Electronics, Mechanical, Electrical, Background good at Battery- line knowledge about Electric Vehicle is preferred.
- Proven ability to lead teams, train supervisors, and foster a results- driven culture.
- Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing, TPM, 5S, Kaizen, OKR, KPIs and single- piece flow principles.
- Proficiency in English skills.
- Minimum of 5- 8 years of experience in a production management role in a manufacturing environment.
