Job overview:
We are seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in the neutralization, bleaching, and deodorization of vegetable oils.
As a Production Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing these critical processes to ensure the consistent production of high- quality oil products that meet or exceed industry standards. Your role will involve managing and developing production personnel, creating efficient production schedules, and maintaining strict adherence to company policies. Additionally, you will be accountable for meeting established targets for receiving, production, and shipping.
Key responsibilities:
Neutralization

Perform routine checks and maintenance on neutralization equipment to ensure efficient operation.
Adjust chemical dosages and processing conditions to achieve optimal results.
Monitor neutralization equipment and processes to remove free fatty acids and other impurities from crude vegetable oil.

Bleaching

Manage the dosage and application of bleaching agents.
Ensure proper filtration and separation of bleaching earth from the oil.
Monitor bleaching equipment to remove color pigments, oxidation products, and other impurities from oil.

Deodorization

Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of deodorization equipment.
Adjust temperature, pressure, and steam flow rates to achieve desired product specifications.
Monitor deodorization equipment to remove volatile compounds, off- flavors, and odors from vegetable oil.

Quality Control:
Ensure the products meet quality and food safety standards.

Perform regular sampling and testing of oil products to ensure compliance with quality standards.
Collaborate with the quality assurance team to address any deviations or issues.
Document and report processing parameters, adjustments, and product quality results.

Operational Efficiency

Maintains safe and clean work environment by educating and directing personnel on the use of all control points, and equipment.
Monitor process parameters and make adjustments to optimize production efficiency and minimize waste.
Report downtime and any problem in the plant in time. Report immediate to the superior on issues related to productivity, output, workload etc.
Ensure compliance towards safety regulations at all lines. To ensure safety regulations adhere at the workplace.
Implement and adhere to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety protocols.
Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues to maintain continuous production flow.
Maintains workflow by monitoring steps of the process; setting processing variables; monitoring personnel and resources; implementing cost reductions.
Resolve personnel problems by analyzing data; investigating issues; identifying solutions; recommending action.

Training and Development: Ensure training/instruction is performed for new employees and effective.

Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in vegetable oil processing technology
Assist in training new operators and staff in processing techniques and equipment operation.

Authority:

To be entitled to request production stop production when detecting serious incidents in quality until the problem is resolved.
Independent in implementing assigned tasks and complying with company regulations.
To be entitled to request and recommend superior to innovation, and improvements in work.

Yêu cầu công việc

Experience: Having 3- 4 years of experience in production supervision; minimum of 2 years of experience in the neutralization, bleaching, and deodorization of vegetable oils is advantageous.
Education: Graduated from College or University majoring in Food Technology, Chemistry, Biology, Agriculture, or related field.
Technical competencies:

Understanding production processes, GMP, HACCP, ISO, BRC is advantageous.
Have knowledge of food hygiene and safety, and production process.
Strong understanding of chemical and mechanical processes involved in vegetable oil refining.

Other competencies:

Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate clearly with colleagues
Working well with many different departments and external suppliers.
Proficient with Microsoft skills excel report
Stress management with multiple demands in a team environment
