PURCHASING MANAGER (ELECTRIC VEHICLES)

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Supply Chain Manager specializing in electric vehicle (EV) components to lead our procurement and supply operations. This role requires deep expertise in sourcing EV parts, electronic components, and strong knowledge of the Chinese market. The ideal candidate should have proven experience in leading a team and optimizing the end- to- end supply chain process to support business growth.
In addition, in 2024, Kingsport officially entered the market of Manufacturing- Distribution of electric vehicles (electric bicycles, electric motorbikes...) to customers with the MOVE brand.Currently, Kingsport has 2 electric vehicle assembly factories in Long Hau- Can Giuoc- Long An.
KINGSPORT GROUP is the largest sports equipment supplier in Vietnam with the KINGSPORT brand (Massage chairs, treadmills, exercise bikes...), a system of more than 150 stores, 1,200 employees nationwide.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead the procurement of electric vehicle parts, batteries, motors, and related electronic components.
Develop and manage relationships with suppliers, especially in China, ensuring high quality and cost- effective sourcing.
Analyze supply market trends and identify sourcing opportunities and risks.
Ensure compliance with company policies, regulations, and sustainability standards.
Lead and manage a team of at least 4 members, fostering collaboration and performance excellence.
Work closely with R&D, production, and quality departments to ensure timely availability of components.
Negotiate contracts, pricing, and delivery terms with key suppliers.
Monitor supplier performance and implement improvement plans.
Improve supply chain processes to reduce lead time and optimize inventory levels.

Age: 1988 – 1994.
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or related fields.
Experience in leading and developing a procurement team.
Minimum 5 years of experience in supply chain or procurement, with a strong focus on EV components and electronics.
Solid knowledge of Chinese suppliers, EV market trends, and import/export procedures.
Strong negotiation, communication, and supplier relationship management skills.
Proficient in English; Chinese language skills are a strong plus.
Willingness to travel to China or local supplier locations when needed.
