Quality Development
Identify potential risks associated with a release of new product for which the company may need to develop countermeasures
Contribute the achievement of company objectives, KPIs, target
Perform quality assurance benchmark to ensure that the Company meets industry standards for best practices
Report to top management on the performance of the QMS (e.g., results of quality audits, corrective actions), including the need for improvement
Participate in product planning with the Product Development team to review customer requirements, quality assurance systems and establish appropriate quality standards and parameters for products; policies, processes and procedures for testing
Assess the quality of technical design documents
Conduct periodic quality management review meetings to review tests results, defect rates or returned rate to make necessary adjustment /intervention to improve product quality and quality standards
Plan Quality Assurance department strategical development roadmap based on company’s vision & mission
Quality Assurance
Consult with VGM/GM and QA Director to make final decision for major/ critical quality issues
Lead continuous improvement, and digitalization projects applied for QMS and ensure that digitalization solutions are being followed
Join pre- production meeting and communicate quality standards and parameters to QA/QC team and other relevant staff
Work with Merchandising on the T2 replacement procedure and discipline
Monitor suppliers’ performance and follow- up improvement actions
Assure quality management system (QMS) to function in a proper manner end to end process (including sub process and onsite T2s)
Oversee product recalls; lead & coordinate with relevant departments to conduct failure analysis and complaint investigation, find solutions and carry out corrective measures
Monitor garment quality and workmanship from development to finish products. Ensure that response time for defects, and concerns are settled in a set timeframe
Processes of quality products management and improvement
Work closely with Vice General Manager on the quality incentive
Provide a full technical answer to a customer complaint in a timely manner
Perform vendor audits and review current vendor supplied data/quality records
Manage the testing process (fabric inspection, cut panels inspection, inline inspection and final inspection …) by planning, scheduling, organizing, and coordinating efforts with other departments
Lead internal audit, third party audits and regulatory inspections to maintain customer’s standards, applicable laws, regulations, guidelines, and policies
Implement and manage RCA analysis from quality defects together with production and ME up to T2 level
Monitor and assure size set sample approval is conducted in alignment with the standards
TMI group shared service
Develop Group QA strategy (Quality capability, Skill matrix, Digitalization, quality standard and Process standardization,…)
Conduct Best practice sharing (Factory visit, group Quality meeting, cross Factory audit)
Ensure T1- T2 alignment (performance review meeting, audit, factory tour, fabric quality management process)
Work with relevance to review Quality standards and process
Oversight Group Quality KPIs monitoring (Order pass rate, Audit result, Defect rate, Q- KPI,…)
Lead Monthly group Quality meetings (new Quality standard/ process, critical issues, group Quality KPIs, Quality projects update,...)
People management
Manage interpersonal conflicts, promote collaboration and respect.
Identify, recruit, motivate, coach, develop and retain staff to ensure sufficient and qualified resources
Manage staff performance and provide frequent constructive feedback for staff development
