R&D Intern (E-Commerce, Full-Time)

Collaborate with engineers to assess the technical feasibility of proposed app concepts.
Keep up- to- date with the latest Shopify API developments and industry trends.
Conduct in- depth research to identify emerging trends and opportunities in the Shopify app market.
Research and analyze existing Shopify apps to identify strengths, weaknesses, and opportunities for differentiation.
Analyze user data, conduct surveys, and gather feedback from merchants to understand their pain points and unmet needs.
Share ideas openly, provide constructive feedback, and work effectively with team members from various disciplines.
Brainstorm and develop innovative app concepts that address identified merchant needs and align with our company&039;s vision.
Create low- fidelity prototypes to test and validate app concepts with target users.

Exposure to prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Adobe XD) or UX design principles (a willingness to learn is a plus).
Strong analytical and problem- solving skills.
Ability to collaborate effectively with a team.
Experience with conducting research (e.g., user surveys, data analysis).
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
Proficiency in learning new skills and technologies.
Basic understanding of market research, product development, or a related field
