This person oversees the handling, managing and developing of regional markets and accounts of Heritage Line (DMC, TO; TA) with the objective to improve the performance of individual accounts markets (number of accounts, guest, booking or turnover). The person can both – strategically and operationally- with a multi- layered approach using different marketing and sales activities online and offline. The person will have to plan activities per market, per account or segment with detailed objectives, strategies, and operational activities (roll out) with the support of sales team members. A very hands- on mentality is required taking ownership of any relevant task to drive business. The Sales Manager (Regional Markets) can maintain and build new relationships, knows the tools to work with the market pro- actively on a forward planned basis and is responsible for the sales and marketing activities falling into his area. She/He can work individually without much supervision and has the confidence to make the right decision based on professional experience and expertise.
Weekly and monthly sales report, adhoc reports (if any)
Conduct direct sales activities including sales calls, product training, webinars, etc.
Takes part in corporate projects to improve the business environment and tech- stack set up.
Being responsible for markets and market segments and manage the stakeholders on daily basis as well strategically based on a forward plan inclusive of tailored sales and marketing activities to achieve set targets.
Personal, continuous account- based and business development management to raise new prospects and develop existing accounts.
Raise business leads on Group or charter basis and pursue until converted.
Develop marketing ideas to target the regional market in order to stimulate business (offers, EDM, campaigns, events, etc) and liaise closely with marketing team in regards of its further planning and roll out
Be able to evaluate own sales activities monthly and present results professionally to supervisor.
Attend training courses / event (if required) to keep up to date with the industry and global trends
Keep others informed by sharing information
Looks for continuous improvements in regards of internal management and organizational processes.
Attend to any other tasks and duty assigned by supervisor.
Research and monitor the market (and competitors) to be aware of market trends and news.
Monitor account performance and develop tailored sales and marketing activities for selected regional resellers.
Be a leader and idol in the team and represent Heritage Line as trademark to the market and monitors that the brand exposure in the market is correct and well maintained
