Salesforce Commerce Developer

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with cross- functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Integrate third- party applications and services using REST/SOAP APIs.
Ensure best practices in coding, performance optimization, and security.
Develop and maintain storefronts using Salesforce Commerce Cloud (Demandware).
Configure and manage development tools such as Jenkins, git, JIRA, and Confluence.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to the Salesforce Commerce Cloud platform.
Implement and manage Salesforce B2B and B2C Commerce Cloud solutions.
Customize and extend Salesforce Commerce Cloud capabilities using JavaScript (ECMAScript 5 and 6), HTML, CSS, and Apex.
Perform site speed optimization and ensure cross- browser compatibility.

Qualifications:

3+ years of experience in Salesforce Commerce Cloud (a.k.a. Demandware), implementing both back- end and front- end features.
Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript (ECMAScript 5 and 6), JSON, AJAX, jQuery, XML, web analytics, and web services (SOAP/REST).
Experience with Salesforce Commerce Cloud B2C Storefront Reference Architecture (SFRA) and Site Genesis JavaScript Controllers (SGJC) reference architectures.
Salesforce B2C Commerce Architect Certification is a plus.
Experience configuring and managing Jenkins.
Strong working knowledge of secure development practices.
Knowledge of building, using, and deploying cartridges.
Knowledge of Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, SOQL, and other Salesforce development tools will be an added advantage
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related field.
Strong, in- depth programming skills in JavaScript, both server- side and client- side.
Proven experience in implementing and managing Salesforce B2B Commerce Cloud solutions.
Familiarity with business process analysis and CRM systems and experience using Salesforce IDE (Integrated Development Environment) will be an advantage.
Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
Having experience as a Salesforce developer along with a solid understanding of the platform, its architecture, and its limitations will be an added advantage
Strong knowledge of Salesforce CRM and related technologies.
Knowledge of open- source packages/libraries.
Salesforce Commerce Cloud B2C Developer Certification.
Experience with web frameworks, interactive web development, and responsive web design.
Experience with site speed optimization.
