Senior Research Analyst - Banking Sector Vietcap Securities Joint Stock Company

Report to: Head of Research.
Department: Research.
SENIOR ANALYST – BANKING SECTOR
Key Responsibilities:
• Make client presentations.
• Provide accurate insightful and timely information to our institutional clients and our retail brokers.
• Build, review, and analyze financial models / financial statements.
• Conduct company/industry/market research and general supporting work.
• Cover a portfolio of at least 5 companies in the financial services sector.
• Make stock calls on companies within coverage universe.
• Write equity research reports, including regular coverage of portfolio companies, sector reports and theme pieces.

• MBA or CFA qualifications desirable.
• Knowledge of bank and insurance industry accounting standards.
• Strong financial analysis, professional writing, presentation and spreadsheet modelling skills.
• Flexible and able to work under intense pressure is a must.
• Working experience in foreign firms and/or overseas educational experience desirable.
• High integrity, professionalism and well organized.
• Willing and able to travel whenever required.
• Bachelor degree (or higher) in finance, commerce, banking, economics, with an outstanding academic record.
• Fluency in written and oral Vietnamese and English is a must.
• At least two years of experience in finance with proven analytical skills.
• Knowledge of stock market mechanics.
