About the Role
We are seeking individuals with a keen enthusiasm for shaping something entirely novel from its foundation. This role offers an exceptional opportunity for those passionate about solving real- world challenges by crafting cutting- edge APIs and designing high- quality, user- friendly interfaces.
Join our dynamic team and lead innovation at the forefront. Work closely with a small, agile group to create features that automate tasks and empower merchants with seamless self- onboarding and content management. Your role promises a significant impact, contributing to the development of an innovative solution.
Responsibilities:
Advocate for writing comprehensive unit tests to improve code reliability and maintainability, fostering a testing culture within the development process
Maintain high standards for code quality, reliability, and scalability
Mentor your fellow engineers with the technical skills and domain exposure needed to become the next generation of subject matter experts at Ascenda
Own problems from end to end, managing complexity and engaging directly with other teams, Project, Partnerships etc to think through everything from business impact, to reliability and operability, to the ease of integration, and the expressiveness of our product APIs
Lead the implementation of end- to- end features for the platform as a full stack engineer for the team.
Design and implement highly efficient APIs and their underlying infrastructure, showcasing excellence in software design and maintaining close collaboration with the design team to create elegant, accessible, and user- friendly interfaces.
Serve as a role model for high engineering standards and bring consistency to the codebases and Ops processes you will encounter
