About this position
We are looking for a highly skilled
Technical Architect Manager (specialized in Drupal)
to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of backend architecture, extensive experience in PHP frameworks, and expertise in designing and developing REST APIs.
This role requires
a leader who can coach developers
, establish coding standards, and ensure best practices are followed. Proficiency in English communication, especially in reading and writing, is essential. Experience with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and familiarity with technologies like Linux, Git, and containerization platforms is highly valued.

Responsibilities

Accountable for working on code reviewing, bug fixing and assisting QA/QC Team
Establish coding standard and best practices to train developers produce clean, efficient code
Develop and maintain backend architecture to support scalable, extendible and reliable applications
Actively participate in projects workshops and understanding requirements
Design and implement APIs, ensuring optimal performance and responsiveness
Create comprehensive technical designs and ensure they are properly documented and communicated to the team
Providing time estimates for new initiatives
Mentor and assist junior developers, sharing your expertise and promoting best development practices.
Understanding of continuous integration / continuous delivery concepts and the ability to troubleshoot related issues

Must Have

8+ years of hands- on experience in PHP development, 5 years as technical leader, 2 years of Architect role
Good communication in English (focus more in Reading and Writing)
Ability to work independently and in a team, managing multiple projects simultaneously
Strong problem- solving skills and attention to detail
Rich Experience designing and developing REST APIs
Familiarity with DevOps practices and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
Experience with Linux and the associated services used for web applications (Nginx, Apache2)
Familiarity with version control systems (Git)
Willing to learn new technologies when required
Proficiency in Drupal, WordPress, knows their pros/cons, good at PHP, Laravel/Lumen, MySQL,
Familiarity with integrating third- party APIs and applications

Nice to Have

Experience in Magento development is a plus
Experience building technical proposals for presale team
Experience in working with WeChat Mini Program or APP is a plus
Experience with containerization platforms such as Docker, Docker Compose, Kubernetes
Any additional programming language is a plus
Involvement in the Drupal community is a big plus
Chinese speaking is a great plus
Experience in Phalcon development is a plus
