For Jula Asia in Vietnam, we are now looking for a Senior Sourcer- South East Asia
• Start Time: As soon as possible.
• Office Location: Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam
• Annual Travel Days: 70- 90 Days
Main Responsibility:
Responsible for all own brand supplier management and own brand product sourcing and development in the South East Asia area within DIY product categories, to the European market,
• Manage existing suppliers and continue to source new manufacturers to optimize supplier base in the South East Asia area
• Responsible for all negotiation include price, payment term, MOQ and lead times to obtain the best terms and service from suppliers in the area
• Close collaboration with own brand Product Manager to complete the sourcing tasks on time.
JULA ASIA Is global sourcing provider for the Jula Group and primarily our International Retailer chains Jula AB & Hööks AB, Jula Asia have global sourcing offices in China, Vietnam, India, and Bangladesh. Jula Asia provides on- location sourcing, support, and services for our Headquarters in Sweden, within Product and Supplier Sourcing, Quality Engineering, Quality Inspection, Product Test, CSR Audit, Supply Chain, Logistic support, Packaging Artwork, Product Photo, Etc. and all with a global perspective.
Primary tasks and areas of responsibility:
• According to supplier base and annual evaluation result, to consolidate and optimize supplier base, make back- up supplier plan and new suppliers sourcing plan.
• Be proactive to complete sourcing tasks and focusing on business results. Systematically improve knowledge of current products and understanding of the local market based on each sourcing task. To make the best price and products to own brand Product Manager.
• Make the plan of trade show trips and complete exhibition report.
• Pay regular attention on the raw material and exchange rate, regular review and negotiate existing items’ prices to hit KPI.
• Regular meeting with Sourcing Manager Asia to review area sourcing work, plan, achievement, and expectation.
• Follow the department SOP to meet the company expectations.
• To ensure supplier read and understand Jula supplier’s guideline and general terms, and make sure supplier sign back purchasing contract before business started.
• Make the plan of buying trips for own brand Product Manager and follow up works.
• Organize visit of main supplier/factory either alone or together with colleague or line manager, to review full year performance with supplier, negotiate price, payment term, MOQ, lead times with supplier to develop long- term business relationship even strategic supplier for new R&D development area.
• Regular meeting with Product Manager to review sourcing tasks’ status and outstanding issues, make sure sourcing tasks go ahead.
• Follow the FD to meet the company expectations for the function and position,
Secondary tasks and areas of responsibility:
• Proactive Sourcing to find commercial and useful product for Jula product range.
• Support other department to settle issues and find solution when needed.
