Main role:
Responsible for setting standard and controlling/ensuring the quality of input materials (fabric and accessories) and resolving arising problems within the allowable scope, giving quick and effective handling actions to keep up with the schedule manufacture.Support QAM and coordinate with related departments such as Merchandising and purchasing to identify hidden risks in raw materials right from the development stage to find solutions to prevent risks during mass production.
DUTIES & TASKES:
Training quality system of Materials for both internal and external team
Develop and maintain quality systems for materials that support the achievement of the quality objectives. Quality systems are the methods, tools, and procedures that are used to monitor, measure, and improve the quality of the products or services. Some examples of quality systems are quality manuals, procedure, checklists, audits, inspections, tests, corrective actions, data of fabric/ standard and common issue of its, and typical physical samples
Define quality objectives for materials by identifying the customer requirements, the industry regulations, supplier capacity and the best practices that apply to products.
Resolve quality issues by:
- Prevent the recurrence of these issues
- Identifying and analyzing issues, and determine the root causes and the corrective actions.
- Communicate and document these issues, and their resolution, to the relevant parties.
Join ICM meeting and make clear matters relating to quality of material input and provide risk forecast (if any) to avoid the raw material quality problem from the beginning
Supervise all activities about quality control of Materials from sample to bulk production.
Follow up stock- in plan, change over status, feeding time
Lead material quality team:
- Encourage collaboration and innovation.
- Provide daily oversight and guidance
- Foster a culture of quality within the team
Review quality performance:
- Collect and analyze data and information that indicate the level and the trends of the quality of the products, and the effectiveness and efficiency of the quality systems and processes.
- Compare these data and information with the quality objectives and targets, and identify any gaps or opportunities for improvement.
Lead or support audits of Material suppliers and contract laboratories
