System Administrator

This falls under the scope of Enterprise Applications, and will routinely engage with other application administrators, developers, analysts, DBAs and other technical support teams, vendor consultants
Integrates Colleague with other home- grown and third party applications and data- driven processes
Responsible for the maintenance of the CAE Tool
Works with West’s Operations team in analyzing current business processes and provide improvement recommendations
Completes the request processing, issues licenses to users, receives purchase inventory into inventory, and processes returns
Software administrator provides technical support in loading of Operating Systems (O/S), LINUX, Microsoft Windows Advanced Server, Relational Database Management System (RDBMS) Sybase Adaptive Server Enterprise (ASE), Applications and Databases.
Stays informed on SIS and Colleague best practices and industry/functionality trends by attending workshops, reviwing professional publications, establishing personal networks and participating in professional societies
Provide implementation and ongoing support for enterprise security applications
Determines how to fulfill user requests based on available inventory
Primary system administrator and application configuration expert for Colleague
Ensure the backup, recovery and disaster/recovery of all servers, Software Tools and associated databases

Experience in SQL Server – Advantage
Experience in Linux and shell scripts
Good at English (Communication & Writing)
Knowledge in Oracle Grid Control- Advantage
Experience in System Administration and should have a Designing experience
Knowledge in replication concept and technology (such as Oracle Golden Gate)- Advantage
